Listen, truth be told, making real-life Christmas card is one thing, but including your kids in them, is anxiety (literally). Because kids don’t understand the generosity of Christmas cards, and they keep on going with experiments – clicks after clicks for so long. Anyway, in the end, you hold the Christmas card that your kiddo wished, and not what you wanted, and that’s fun, correct? But the Stanleys know how to be a good sport as well, and this family from Charlotte, North Carolina, have been creating real-life Christmas cards for years, and this year a baby sister has joined in the fun.
Meet, The Stanley Family, Whose Insanely Craziest Real Life Christmas Cards Have Made People See Stuff In Different Ways!
“The first time we tried to take a traditional Christmas card photo, we had a bad experience,” Jonathan Stanley commented on their shoot, “we were new parents with a one-year-old kid, and as per the planning, everything went wrong. Our baby cried the whole time; the climate was poor, the lighting kept changing, etc. Plus, if two of us looked okay, the other blinked. We took shots after shots until we scrabbled on the floor and laughed so harder at how bad the photos were! We decided to send it right away to our family members and friends, and they loved it. Since then, the idea of representing the chaos of parenting in Christmas cards began, and we’re doing it until today. My family has also got bigger, plus they support their very own tradition.” Jonathan also included his wife, “Yeah, she rolled her eyes when I mentioned this to her, but she also said, let’s give it a try.”
