Yeah, the rumor is true – The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf movie is in the works, and probably will take us back to a new menace facing the Continent.
Anyway, the point is, the show has been out scarcely a few months, and it was so blooming that it is getting a movie (I mean, yaaaaaay!).
And apparently, The Witcher is currently on track to be Netflix’s most dominant show, and with a movie on the way, that is obviously going to get some more views for them.
Undoubtedly, 2020 So Far Has Been Marked By One TV Show:
And that is The Witcher.
It defeated Stranger Things record when it came out in December 2019, and it appears since blowing up Netflix is planting all of its pieces behind the book turned video game turned Netflix series.
And now, Netflix has announced its final form – The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf:
A movie. Ok, an anime movie, but it’s a move before a live-action one.
Lucky for us, The Witcher showrunner, Lauren S. Hissrich, is going to be connected, so if you liked the series (which you did), chances are – you definitely will enjoy the anime.
Here’s what we know and we think you should know too:
Well, Beau DeMayo, who did one of the episodes of the series, is also assigned to the team.
Also, Studio Mir (the studio who animated The Legend Of Korra) is going to be animating it. That means, our feelings are in safe hands.
We have the tagline for the latest anime film (the quick and natural summary):
“The vision of The Witcher opens in this anime movie that explores a powerful new menace facing the Continent.”
