Scott Poore is one of those big-hearted people who honestly can’t stand watching animals and mother nature in pain, and of course, he can’t save every animal in agony, but that doesn’t mean he won’t try. Yeah, Poore is the man with a mission – mission to provide safety to every animal in need, plus, he has collaborated with a clothing brand to raise funds for the necessary resources needed for shelter. But not everything works out as per the plan, and sometimes, you have to go above and beyond to get animals the help they need.
Meet Queen, A Three-Year-Old Terrier Mix, Was One Of Those Dogs In Need For A Master!
Scott Poore was worried as Queen had been in the shelter for over 400 days, but couldn’t get adopted, “I just can’t figure out why she is not getting adopted,” Poore commented.
Queen Had Been In The Shelter For Over A Year Without Getting Adopted, And It Seemed That She Was Losing Hopes To Get Pet By Someone!
Poore mentioned about Queen losing hopes of finding her hero in his Facebook post, “I can visibly see her giving up, she used to get excited when I would arrive, and now she lays in her bed and looks up at me. I sit in her room, and all she does is look out of her window, in hopes to make eye contact with her hero. It’s heartbreaking to see her lose hope,” Poore narrated Queen’s behavior.
For Connecting With Queen And Bringing Her Winsomeness Back, Scott Poore Knew It Will Take Something Extra, So He Came Up With A Plan:
The circumstance needed a great publicity stunt, and Poore had a perfect plan in his mind. He moved in with Queen into the shelter, sleeping long-nights cuddling her to make Queen feel like home-routine in the shelter.
Though Poore’s Idea Sounds Great, It Was Harder In Action As The Other Dogs Snored Loudly In Nights, Making It Tough For Poore To Sleep Calmly!
And The Stunt Helped, Queen’s Hero Came Along, Making Poore Extremely Happy. But In The End, Queen Probably Have Made More Efforts To Get Herself Adopted Than Poore Did!!!
Queen’s hero commented on their fortune, “Queen is perfectly sweet and adorable, she reminds me of a little stuffed animal. And in no time, I was in love with her.”
Though A Few People Wonder Why Scott Poore Didn’t Take Queen Home Himself!
Well, as mentioned earlier, Poore is one of those big-hearted people who want to protect every animal in need, but he can’t take every one of them at his house, “I can’t take every animal that I help because then I will have one thousand animals in my house,” Poore said. But again, that’s not going to stop him from protecting animals at all!
